SA Photofurs is for anyone in the furry community who enjoys photography, fursuiting, modeling, or creative media. Whether you are a photographer, fursuiter, handler, editor, content creator, or someone who just loves taking fun photos with friends, this group is a place to connect and create.

You do not need professional gear or years of experience to join. Phone photographers, beginners, hobbyists, and experienced shooters are all welcome. This group is about learning, sharing, practicing, and helping each other grow while having fun.

SA Photofurs is also a great space for fursuiters and models who want to practice posing, meet local photographers, or take part in photo walks, meetups, and creative shoots around San Antonio.

SA Photofurs meets in different places around San Antonio and the surrounding area, depending on the type of event or photo opportunity. We may host planned meetups, photography walks, fursuit photo shoots, casual hangouts, workshops, or random get-togethers when good photo spots or fun ideas come up.

Members also often connect with each other to plan their own smaller meetups for photography, video projects, fursuit shoots, editing practice, or creative collaborations. Not every meetup has to be a big official event. Sometimes it is just a few people getting together to create something fun.

Our goal is to help local photographers, fursuiters, models, and creative friends find safe, welcoming spaces to meet, practice, and make memories together.

Joining SA Photofurs is easy. We welcome anyone who wants to take photos, learn photography, practice modeling, create videos, or just have fun being creative with others in the furry community.

Please be respectful of all members, their boundaries, and their comfort levels. Always ask before taking close-up photos, recording video, touching fursuits, adjusting poses, or sharing photos publicly. Consent is important, and “no” should always be respected without pressure.

Keep meetups friendly, positive, and welcoming. Help new photographers, support fursuiters and models, share tips when asked, and encourage each other’s creative ideas. We are here to learn, laugh, be silly, and make cool memories together.

Photos, videos, and creative work shared in the group should be treated with care. Do not repost, edit, sell, or use someone else’s work without permission. Give credit when sharing photos, and respect anyone who asks for a photo to be removed.
